Our Philosophy
Player‑Centered. Coach‑Driven. Volunteer‑Supported.
Our Mission
To build a welcoming community where youth and adults discover the excitement of water polo, develop skills through teamwork and coaching, and grow in confidence both in and out of the pool.
Club Overview
Vancouver Vipers is a co‑ed community water polo club for youth ages 6 to 18 and adult players. We combine a fun, supportive environment with high‑quality coaching and competitive league play across the Lower Mainland. Since 1991, Vipers has helped athletes build confidence, skills, and teamwork through professional coaching, structured training, and exciting game experiences.
As a not‑for‑profit club, we’re powered by dedicated volunteers and depend on registration fees, fundraising activities, and volunteer’s time to maintain our club. Only our coaches are paid.
We are:
- Registered with Water Polo West (our provincial governing body) and Water Polo Canada.
- Incorporated under the Societies Act of the Province of British Columbia.
- Governed by a volunteer Board elected from our members at our AGM each year.
We also offer leadership opportunities for young athletes, including junior coaching and referee training for players 13 and older.
